Job Description – Junior Producer

Location: Barcelona Office, onsite (with availability for international travel)
Type: Full-time contract

1. Mission of the role

Support the production team in the planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring that every operational detail aligns with the creative and excellence standards of La Puta Suegra. The Junior Producer will be responsible for coordinating suppliers, logistics, and operations, contributing to the success of sophisticated, disruptive, and memorable production

2. Main responsibilities

Planning & Pre-production

  • Support production planning and scheduling.
  • Coordinate logistics for suppliers, materials, transportation, and staff.
  • Prepare call sheets, checklists, timelines, and basic budgets.
  • Assist in the preparation of production dossiers, presentations, and documentation.


Supplier & Resource coordination

  • Contact, negotiate, and coordinate with service providers (decoration, catering, audiovisuals, staging).
  • Supervise deliveries, installations, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Manage inventory of materials and technical requirements.

 

Onsite production (during the event)

  • Support the Senior Production team during setup, execution, and breakdown.
  • Supervise timelines and coordinate onsite teams.
  • Resolve operational issues in real time.
  • Provide direct support to clients and the creative team during events.

 

Post-Production & Reporting

  • Document processes and key learnings from each event.
  • Prepare post-event reports including incidents, improvements, and conclusions.

 

3. Academic requirements

  • Degree or studies in Communication, Event Production, Advertising, Cultural Management, Public Relations, or related fields.
  • Additional training in audiovisual production, logistics management, or occupational risk prevention for events is a plus.

 

4. Technical requirements

  • Proficiency in management tools such as Microsoft Office, Asana, and similar platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of technical production and event logistics.
  • Basic design software skills (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator) for internal materials are a plus.
  • High level of English (minimum B2, ideally C1).
  • Valid Category B driver’s license (mandatory).
